So there you are something else I do and guess what? there are other areas of photography I work in as well but I’ll save those for another time.

It was shot on location at an amazing house in Norfolk call Battleford Hall, an old vicarage owned by Kate’s uncle, who the whole crew referred to as ‘Uncle Pete’ who during our time in residence looked after us in what can only be described as VIP treatment. I think I probably owe him a few bottles of wine as we quaffed long into the night on the first day!

So I spent two amazing days lurking around behind the cameras and trying to get enough time to get some decent portraits in between scenes. Here are a few of my favorites:

My absolute favorite without a doubt is this one, album cover material? only time will tell.

Also because I have had to hold this back for nearly 5 months I have also held back the following image never before seen not even by Kate!

Now there was also another deviant lurking behind the scenes recording a BTS film one Mr Guy Wilson who has the ability to sit in thin air as this image demonstrates he also doubled as my assistant, cheers fella the leaves were all you!!

Now much against my better judgement here’s Guy’s film and safe to say my screen debut and curtain call! and thankfully brief!

In two days I met some great people: Melissa Kassinen simply great make-up and Lukas DiSparrow one of the worlds self confessed wierdos but a great director. Mr Guy Wilson a kindred spirit! Mr Kevin Sutherland and of course not forgetting the lady herself KayJay

I shot the above panorama on the Friday before the demolition. For the actual ‘bang’ I was corralled with the other press about 400 meters or so away. Here the sequence of events.

The whole thing start to finish was over in less than a 30 seconds and the final shot was a mere 5 minutes after it all went off! There is going to be a new £750 million green energy park built on the site.  I have also created a short film.

I drove that way the other day and the usual blot of the towers wasn’t on the skyline. I think I miss them!

I came and went around other work I had on and I concentrated on more of the fringe shows but to kick off I went to the Francesca Marotta show at Goldsmith’s and wow what an awesome start. It was her first real LFW show but her designs were some of the best I saw all week.

I was shooting some motorsport on Saturday so I returned on Sunday to shoot Pam Hogg’s show. The agency I way shooting for thought it might be worth while! The press pit was packed! I fortunately managed to get a good spot  and  managed to maintain it! A quick note here on the press pit etiquette….. none existent!! its no different from fighting for an interview shot in motorsport or papping a celebrity entering a venue!!

But Pam Hoggs show just wow!

I’m sure most of you have seen the other published work from Pam’s show and know just how good it was. I then thought I was dealt a bad hand as I was asked to cover Inbar Spectors show on Monday 20th February. Oh how wrong I was as Inbars show was quite simply stunning giving a very manga type feel to the whole thing (I later read that this was intential!) judge for yourself

So next up for me was a Chinese designer Ji Cheng

So next was Mens days where everyone seemed to leave, but there was some great show I shot at the  E.Tautz  and Baartmans and Siegal shows

Great shows all of them, however a moment has to be spent for the fashion from the street

Hopefully to be appearing as a feature in a Ford type magazine soon!

After a mammoth commute of over 350 miles! this was the first view that greeted me when I trudged out to the pits on Wednesday morning for the first time.

Unfortunately the weather didn’t always play ball all week and a lot of time was spent waiting for the sandbank to dry out.

The courses that were set were gigantic covering a few square miles! but even a field of well over seventy pilots from all over Europe that included England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Spain. The race starts were something to behold.

Its not often I get papped when I am working but Ruairidh Munro managed it! It actually looks as though I know what I am doing! Anyway make sure you check out his FlickR stream

My advice if you ever get the chance to go and watch and/or take pictures of kitebuggy racing is do it! I’ll be heading out again that’s for sure

It was great to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones. I was asked if I fancied getting back into it again……hmmm how to approach the subject with my wife!
